چکیده
Abstract Forests and agricultural plantations are vegetated areas that play an important role in catering to human needs. The characteristics of the two lands can be recognized by utilizing remote sensing techniques WorldView-2 satellite images as green biomass monitoring tools. research was undertaken Sabah Softwoods Berhad (SSB) forest plantation, East Malaysia, analyze land use high functionality areas. Aside from social benefits, there has been a lack conducted estimate areas’ Net Primary Productivity (NPP) using biophysical characteristics. NPP quantifies generated plants, which provides chemical energy drives most biotic processes on Earth. calculated study for all features ranged 39.33 gCm −2 month −1 1498.00 gCm-2 month-1. This work established new assessment Brumas plantation Malaysia. Because is earth’s living biomass, this type approach should used develop maps meet requirements planet.
